Eyelid Surgery or Forehead Lift to Correct Droopy Brows? Well I asked a question that comes up a lot when I’m seeing people who are concerned about the appearance of their upper eyelids and their upper forehead and the question we was that by taking out out upper eyelid skin you can compensate for and correct eye brows that are drooping.
Pretty much everybody got the answer to the question right which was false. The only way to correct drooping eyebrows is is to lift them up with some type of browlift.
What’s interesting is that a lot of patients will be concerned about their upper eyelid skin when what they are really noticing is the position of the upper eyebrow and when that’s corrected the skin will be corrected as well.
We particularly see this in the side of the upper eye and that skin can only be taken care of by some kind of browlift So I thought I would ask this to see if I could stump some of you but you’re all a pretty smart, pretty well educated bunch which is why you all got the question right.
